Wet fart sounds are among the oldest staples of internet prank culture, circulating on early soundboards, forums and ringtone sites long before short-form video. The 'new' label here simply marks a fresher, cleaner recording rather than a known movie or meme origin. Creators now drop it into fail compilations, gaming clips and reaction edits across short-form video and voice chat for instant juvenile shock value. It sits alongside classics like fart with reverb in meme soundboards, kept alive because crude bodily humour never stops getting a reaction.
Über diesen Sound
Wet fart sound effect: a short, squelchy two-second clip. A classic gross-out meme staple used in prank videos, fail edits and comedy shorts.
This two-second clip captures a wet, squelchy fart with a loose, bubbling texture that lands somewhere between gross and hilarious. The sound is short and punchy, with a slippery rattle at the start that collapses into a low splutter, making it instantly recognisable even without any visuals. Played over a video, it triggers an involuntary laugh-or-groan reaction, the kind of juvenile shock humour that breaks tension fast. It works because it is crude, brief and unmistakable, turning an awkward pause or a clumsy fail into a punchline in under two seconds.
