The Sweet Escape was released as a single in 2006 from Gwen Stefani's second solo album of the same name, featuring Akon who also co-wrote and produced the track. Its opening woo hoo hook became the song's most recognisable part, widely clipped and shared online as a standalone reaction sound. The excerpt circulated on soundboards and in short video edits because the refrain works without the full song, keeping the track present in meme culture long after its chart run.

The woo hoo hook from Gwen Stefani and Akon's The Sweet Escape, used as a cheerful pop sound effect for wins, reveals and happy moments in edits.
This clip isolates the bright woo hoo refrain that opens The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani featuring Akon. Sung in a high, playful call and response, the repeated woo hoo and yee hoo lines bounce over the beat with an instantly recognisable pop energy. It sounds light, bubbly and a little mischievous rather than loud or aggressive. Dropping it into a video immediately signals relief, excitement or a sweet victory, turning an ordinary reveal or success into a moment that feels celebratory and fun for the viewer watching.
