The Xbox 360 launched in 2005 as Microsoft's second home console and its startup sound became one of the most recognised gaming intros of its generation. This newer boot version circulated online as players recorded dashboard starts, console repairs and retro setups, then shared the clip on soundboards and in video edits. It remains popular because it instantly marks a return to mid 2000s and early 2010s gaming culture, long after the console was replaced by Xbox One.
