Allen O'Neil is a recurring boss in SNK's Metal Slug run and gun series, first appearing in the original 1996 arcade game. As a hulking Rebel Army sergeant who keeps returning despite being defeated, he became famous for his arrogant attitude and his long, mocking laugh before boss battles. Clips of that taunt spread through gaming videos and soundboards, where the Yahahahaha became shorthand for a boss who is sure he will win. Its exaggerated delivery keeps it popular for gaming edits and reaction memes.

Allen O'Neil's maniacal Yahahahaha laugh from Metal Slug, the boss taunt used for villain entrances, boss fights and over-the-top reaction edits.
This is the signature evil laugh of Allen O'Neil, the recurring boss from Metal Slug, bursting out as a loud, drawn-out Yahahahaha. The laugh is deep, raspy and completely over the top, starting strong and rolling on without pause for almost two seconds. It does not sound friendly or amused, it sounds like a threat delivered with joy. Listeners instantly read it as a villain who is enjoying the fight and does not plan to lose. That confidence makes the short clip land as both funny and intimidating whenever it appears unexpectedly.
