Step Brothers is a 2008 comedy starring Will Ferrell as Brennan Huff and John C. Reilly as Dale Doback, two immature adults forced to live together after their parents marry. Brennan's singing becomes a running joke that pays off later in the film, and Dale's stunned praise helped the moment circulate online as a standalone reaction clip. It is now shared in edits, group chats and meme videos whenever an ordinary person reveals an unexpectedly beautiful voice.

Brennan sings in Step Brothers and Dale calls it the voice of an angel in this movie clip, used for funny singing reveals and reaction edits.
Brennan Huff shows off his singing voice in this Step Brothers clip, delivering an unexpectedly sweet and earnest vocal moment that catches his stepbrother completely off guard. Dale reacts with genuine awe, calling it the voice of an angel, and the contrast between the childish rivalry of the two men and the sincere compliment is what makes it land. The singing is soft and over the top, the reaction is dead serious, and together they turn a small domestic scene into a perfect reaction moment for surprising talent.
