The Heyaaah clip comes from Nintendo's Legend of Zelda games, where it is tied to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and to the Gorman Brothers, a name long attached to the clip on soundboards. Short Zelda voice clips have long circulated on soundboards and in fan edits, and this one survived because it is instantly recognisable, works without any dialogue, and fits almost any sudden action. That mix of nostalgia and instant comic timing keeps it in regular use in gaming videos and memes.

The short Heyaaah shout from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, often linked to the Gorman Brothers, used as a punchy reaction in gaming edits and memes.
A sharp, high-pitched Heyaaah bursts out in under a second, sounding like a sudden battle cry or startled shout from a Zelda hero. It is loud, energetic and slightly cartoonish, with the voice rising quickly before cutting off abruptly, which makes it land as a joke rather than a serious attack. Played over a clip, it turns an ordinary jump, fall or surprise into a dramatic moment, giving viewers an instant cue that something unexpected, silly or over-the-top has just happened.
