Gwak gwak is an onomatopoeic phrase shared on user soundboards as a short standalone meme clip, with no confirmed original recording or creator attached to this version. It spread through repeat posting and remixing, where the same looping vocal pattern was added to unrelated videos for comic effect. Its appeal comes from how recognisable the rhythm is even at low volume, so a brief play is enough for an audience familiar with soundboard humour to get the reference and expect a gross out or slapstick payoff.
Sobre este sonido
The gwak gwak sound is a short exaggerated gulping vocal effect used in meme edits, reaction videos and soundboard pranks for a silly punchline.
The clip is a repeated gwak gwak vocal noise, performed with an exaggerated wet gulping rhythm that sounds deliberately cartoonish rather than realistic. Each burst lands in quick succession, building a ridiculous sense of anticipation before it cuts off. That over the top delivery is what makes it funny, because the sound alone signals something messy or absurd is happening off screen. Creators lean on its recognisable pattern to turn an ordinary moment into a joke, and listeners instantly understand the tone without needing any dialogue or context to explain the gag at all.
