This explosion clip is credited to Taira Komori and has circulated on user-generated soundboards under the SCP tag, where it is picked up by creators making horror, containment, and gaming content. Its appeal is practical rather than tied to one famous scene: the recording is clean, instantly recognisable as a bomb blast, and short enough to reuse without editing. Because explosions are a staple of action, horror, and meme edits, the clip keeps reappearing whenever a creator needs a sudden, heavy payoff without hunting for a longer cinematic effect.
Sobre este sonido
A loud, deep explosion sound effect with a heavy blast and rumbling aftermath, used in SCP and gaming edits to punctuate a sudden blast or dramatic reveal.
The clip opens with a sharp, concussive crack before dropping into a deep, rolling boom that fills the low end and trails off into a dusty rumble. At just over five seconds it is long enough to feel weighty, but short enough to land as a single punch rather than a drawn-out disaster scene. The blast feels close and physical, as if the explosion happens just off camera, and that immediacy makes a cut, a reveal, or a failure hit harder. Listeners brace for the impact, then feel the release as the rumble fades, which is why it works so well as a payoff for a build-up.
