asdfmovie is a British animated sketch series created by TomSka, first released online in 2008, built from very short unrelated jokes with simple characters and abrupt endings. The muffin man bit comes from the first episode and riffs on the traditional nursery rhyme about the man who lives on Drury Lane. Its muffin loving character became a recurring favourite, later inspiring songs and remixes from fans. The short runtime and instant recognition keep the clip circulating in meme edits, Discord soundboards and reaction videos long after the original episode.
Sobre este sonido
Short clip from asdfmovie 1 where the muffin-obsessed character asks about the muffin man, used for silly reveals, baking memes and random humour edits.
The clip is the muffin man exchange from asdfmovie 1, delivered in the series flat, deadpan cartoon voice over a few seconds. A character brings up the nursery rhyme figure as if it is urgent news, while the other responds with cheerful obsession about muffins. The joke lands because the conversation sounds completely serious while the topic keeps getting more pointless. That sudden swerve into baked goods makes the audio work as a cutaway gag, a random interrupt, or a punchline for any scene where someone mentions baking, breakfast or a street name.
