Promare is a 2019 animated film from Studio Trigger about firefighting mecha pilot Galo Thymos and Burnish leader Lio Fotia. Its soundtrack by Hiroyuki Sawano includes the track stylised as Λsʜᴇs, and this Returns version underscores the notorious scene where Galo revives Lio with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, which fans quickly dubbed a kiss. Clips and edits of the moment spread widely online after release, turning the cue into shorthand for dramatic revivals, much like Giorno's Theme became shorthand for confident anime climaxes.

Burn to Ashes is the dramatic orchestral track from Promare heard during the famous kiss scene, used for intense anime edits and emotional climaxes.
This is the swelling instrumental cue known as Ashes Returns from Promare, built around piano, strings and rising percussion that grow from quiet tension into a full emotional peak. There are no lyrics, just a cinematic build that mirrors a moment of desperation turning into relief on screen. Listeners feel the stakes lift with every layer, which is why the clip works even without the film's visuals. Played on its own it sounds urgent, romantic and triumphant at once, like a rescue arriving at the very last second before everything collapses.
