The clip comes from DatGuyNamedGerb's video Shockwave Goes To Costco, a fan-made Transformers comedy that drops the normally menacing Decepticons into an ordinary shopping trip. The humour comes from that contrast, with a solemn Cybertronian oath delivered as if an everyday errand were a major event. Shared as a short soundboard clip, it has become a handy reaction sound for creators who want an instantly recognisable Transformers reference without using a long scene from a film or series.
Sobre este sonido
A short Transformers meme clip of Soundwave shouting By the Primes, taken from Shockwave Goes To Costco and used as a dramatic reaction to surprising moments.
This two-second clip captures a loud, robotic voice shouting the Transformers oath By the Primes with sudden, exaggerated urgency. The delivery is sharp and metallic, rising quickly before cutting off, which makes it feel like a dramatic declaration rather than ordinary dialogue. It works because the phrase sounds both ancient and over-the-top, so listeners instantly recognise it as a moment of shock, disbelief or heroic alarm. In edits, it lands best right on a reveal, a plot twist or an unexpectedly serious reaction to something silly, where its intensity turns a small moment into a larger-than-life event.
