Infinity Pool is a 2023 science-fiction horror film directed by Brandon Cronenberg, starring Alexander Skarsgård as James Foster, a writer who becomes entangled in a violent island resort culture, alongside Mia Goth as Gabi. The film opened in theatres in late January 2023 and quickly attracted attention for its unsettling tone and confrontational dialogue. Short, quotable lines from it began circulating in edits and reaction clips, where a single accusation could summarise a whole scene. This insult survives because it is blunt, memorable, and easy to drop over almost any moment of hesitation.

A tense movie line calling James Foster a coward from Infinity Pool, used in edits and reaction videos to mock someone backing down or running from a challenge.
This short clip captures a sharp, accusatory moment from Infinity Pool in which James Foster is branded a coward, delivered with cold contempt rather than shouting. The voice cuts through cleanly, making the insult feel personal and damning, while the brief pause around it gives the word room to land. It sounds tense and confrontational, almost like a verdict being passed in the middle of a heated argument. For viewers, it instantly frames the target as weak, hesitant, or unwilling to face consequences, which is why it works so well as a punchline over a clip of someone flinching, retreating, or making excuses.
