The sound comes from Oh Yeah by Swiss electronic duo Yello, released in 1985 and made famous the next year by Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Clips of the opening riff, nicknamed Day Bow Bow from how fans spell the hook, later spread on soundboards and short videos as a ready made cue for a cool entrance or a character admiring something they want.
