Mr Burns is the wealthy owner of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant in The Simpsons, the long-running American animated series that began in 1989. His drawn-out 'Excellent' became one of his signature catchphrases, usually delivered while he steeples his fingers over a scheme, and the French dub keeps the same slow, sinister rhythm. The line spread through clips, edits and soundboards as a shorthand for villainous satisfaction, and it remains popular because one word instantly signals a plan working, especially when paired with his employee Homer Simpson.

Mr Burns says 'Excellent' in French in this short Simpsons clip, with his slow, scheming drawl. Fans use it for villain plans, evil wins and reactions.
This is the French version of Mr Burns saying his famous word, 'Excellent,' from The Simpsons. Delivered in a low, drawn-out voice, the single word stretches just long enough to feel smug and deliberate, with a soft, satisfied chuckle underneath the villain's trademark tone. It is instantly recognisable even without the picture, because the pacing and the sinister delight do most of the work. Hearing it makes a simple moment feel like part of a secret plan, turning an ordinary win into something mischievous, theatrical and quietly menacing.
