Mangle first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 as a tangled, dismantled animatronic, and later returned in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, the mobile augmented reality game released in 2019. In AR, Mangle crawls and lunges at the player through the phone camera, triggering this screech when the defence fails. Clips of the attack spread through YouTube gameplay, TikTok edits and soundboards alongside the classic FNAF jumpscare scream, and fans still reuse Mangle's version for its more glitchy, metallic sound compared to the other animatronics.
Sobre este sonido
Mangle jumpscare sound from Five Nights at Freddy's AR, a loud screeching attack scream used for horror edits, gaming videos and sudden scare pranks.
This is Mangle's jumpscare scream from Five Nights at Freddy's AR, a harsh burst of metallic screeching, distorted static and a piercing animatronic shriek. The sound hits instantly with no build up, layering Mangle's broken, glitchy voice and scraping metal tones into one aggressive blast. At just over two seconds it feels chaotic and disorienting, exactly like being caught by the tangled animatronic on screen. It works because the noise is both frightening and absurdly loud, making viewers jump even when they know a scare is coming in an edit or gameplay clip.
