Funtime Freddy first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, released in 2016 as the fifth main game in Scott Cawthon's horror series. Voiced by Kellen Goff, the animatronic is a twisted party entertainer paired with his hand puppet Bon-Bon, and his overly cheerful voice lines became a fan favourite. Clips of his speech spread through YouTube edits, TikTok videos and soundboards, where individual lines are isolated for reactions, jumpscares and FNAF fan projects, keeping the character popular long after the game's release.

A creepy Funtime Freddy voice line from Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location, with his manic cheerful delivery fans use for jumpscare edits and memes.
This is a longer voice clip of Funtime Freddy speaking in his bright, unstable tone, cheerful on the surface but threatening underneath. The delivery swings between playful excitement and sudden intensity, which makes even ordinary lines feel like a warning. Listeners familiar with the character hear the contrast immediately, the party entertainer voice masking a predator hunting in the dark. The clip works because the performance stays in character the whole time, building tension without music or effects, and leaving a pause-filled, unsettling impression perfect for horror edits.
