Jeffy is a puppet character from SuperMarioLogan, a long-running YouTube comedy series built around Mario plush characters and original puppets, and his loud, childlike delivery has made him a favorite for short meme clips. This line comes from a scene where he sets up his dad, Marvin, before asking something, and the joke lands because Jeffy refuses to accept no as an answer. Fans clipped the exchange for soundboards and short videos, where it spread as a quick setup for pranks, arguments, and awkward questions, and it remains popular because the trap is instantly understood even without the episode.
