Jojo Todynho is a Brazilian singer and social media personality known for her direct, outspoken style and large following in Brazil. The single word mentira, meaning lie in Portuguese, fits that persona perfectly, which is why short clips of her saying it have circulated widely in Brazilian meme and reaction culture. Creators reuse it as a shorthand for disbelief, especially in Portuguese-language videos, and its popularity has carried over to international edits where the tone alone tells the joke. It remains useful because calling out a lie is a timeless reaction.

This short clip features Brazilian singer and reality star Jojo Todynho delivering the word mentira, Portuguese for lie, with a sharp, incredulous emphasis that makes the accusation land instantly. Her voice is bold, expressive and slightly theatrical, rising on the final syllable as if she has just caught someone out. Listeners recognise the tone even without understanding Portuguese, because the delivery carries disbelief, humour and attitude in a single beat. It works as a quick punchline, cutting through a claim or story and signalling to everyone watching that something does not quite add up.
