Linkara is the on-screen persona of comic book reviewer Lewis Lovhaug, best known for Atop the Fourth Wall, a long-running online series in which he reviews comic books with a mix of analysis and theatrical comedy. The 'I am a man' line fits that style perfectly, a blunt declaration delivered with exaggerated seriousness that is easy to lift out of context. Once clipped, it travelled through soundboards and fan edits, where it became a compact reaction for pride, defiance, and self-parody, and it survives because the delivery is instantly recognisable even without the original review.

Linkara delivers a loud, emphatic 'I am a man' shout from his Atop the Fourth Wall reviews, used as a reaction sound for defiant moments of pride.
This short clip captures Linkara, the comic book reviewer behind Atop the Fourth Wall, delivering the line 'I am a man' at full volume. His voice rises sharply, holds the declaration with theatrical confidence, and lands it like a punchline rather than a quiet statement. The delivery is deliberately overblown, mixing genuine defiance with comic-book melodrama, so it feels both earnest and funny at the same time. Played on its own, it turns a simple assertion of identity into a moment of swagger, making it ideal for underlining a character who refuses to back down or who is proudly, absurdly certain of himself.
