Murder in My Mind is a phonk track by Brazilian producer Kordhell, released in 2022 and built around dark, distorted bass and heavy drums. It spread through TikTok and short-form video edits, where its intense opening became a shorthand for menace, confidence and dramatic reveals. Gym, anime and gaming creators adopted it for montages, while meme editors used it to give ordinary moments a villainous twist. Its staying power comes from that instantly recognisable tension, which works even in a short clip without needing the full song.

This clip captures the opening of Kordhell's phonk track Murder in My Mind, starting with a low, distorted bassline and a slow, menacing build that feels heavy and unsettling from the first seconds. A dark, looping melody creeps in over punchy drums, giving the intro a cold, underground energy that instantly signals something intense is about to happen. It does not rely on vocals to make its impact, instead letting the pressure of the beat and the ominous tone do the work. For viewers, it creates instant tension and drama, turning an ordinary clip into something cinematic, confrontational and hard to ignore.
