Little is known about the origin of this clip beyond its circulation as a short, user-uploaded soundboard effect, with the '2' in its title suggesting a second or alternate take of a similar pig retching noise. It has found an audience through searches in English and Spanish, including the query 'vomito 2', as creators look for a quick, cartoonish gag sound rather than a realistic animal recording. Its appeal lies in its brevity: it is recognisable as disgusting, yet too short and exaggerated to feel real, so it keeps working as a throwaway joke in pranks and edits.
Sobre este sonido
A short pig vomit sound effect featuring a wet, gagging retch, commonly used in prank videos and gross-out meme edits for an instant disgusted reaction.
This is a very brief, cartoonish retching noise that sounds like a pig heaving, with a wet, snorting gurgle that rises and cuts off almost as soon as it starts. At well under a second long, it lands as a sudden shock rather than a drawn-out gag, which makes it feel sillier and more exaggerated than genuinely unpleasant. Listeners tend to recoil for a split second, then laugh at how absurd and over-the-top the noise is, especially when it is timed to a character eating something revolting, failing a challenge, or reacting to a terrible smell. Its brevity keeps the joke punchy instead of lingering.
