Pineapple Express is a 2008 American stoner action comedy directed by David Gordon Green and starring Seth Rogen as Dale Denton and James Franco as his dealer Saul Silver. The pair go on the run after Dale witnesses a murder, and the film mixes chase scenes with improvised sounding buddy banter. Short dialogue jokes like this one later circulated on soundboards and in meme edits, where fans isolate a single absurd phrase from the chaos and reuse it as a standalone reaction outside the original scene.

The Pineapple Express prostitute gun clip is a short movie line about a tiny handgun, used as a quick funny punchline in edits and reaction videos.
This short clip lifts a throwaway joke from Pineapple Express about a small, easily hidden handgun nicknamed a prostitute gun. The line lands because the name is blunt, unexpected and oddly specific, turning a tense prop into instant comedy. Delivered straight in the middle of chaotic stoner action, it gets a laugh from the contrast between danger and casual silliness. Online, the two second snippet works like a verbal rimshot, pausing a scene just long enough for viewers to catch the absurd label before the action moves on again.
