Potere del rutto spread as an Italian language meme sound on soundboards, where short gross out clips are shared for quick reactions. Its exact origin is not documented, so its life online is defined by reuse rather than a single source scene. Creators pair it with other exaggerated body sounds like fart with reverb in compilations and edit battles. The joke stays popular because burp humor translates without subtitles, and the Italian phrasing gives a familiar gag a dramatic, almost heroic title that makes the payoff funnier.
Sobre este sonido
A loud, exaggerated burp sound effect known in Italian as Potere del Rutto, used in meme edits to give a character a sudden superpowered belch moment.
Potere del Rutto, Italian for power of the burp, is a drawn out, forceful belch that sounds far bigger than a normal burp. The clip builds the gag by treating a simple burp like a superpower, with the volume and length making it feel almost explosive. It lands as pure gross out comedy, the kind of sound that instantly breaks tension and makes a serious scene feel ridiculous. Viewers hear it as a punchline on its own, even without dialogue, because the burp carries all the timing, attitude and surprise in one hit.
