Sonic Says was the short educational tag at the end of episodes of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, the early 1990s cartoon where Sonic delivered a quick moral directly to viewers. Clips from those segments became a staple of internet remix culture, because Sonic's earnest delivery is easy to re-cut into jokes. This censored version plays on that format, keeping the familiar setup and swapping the payoff for a beep, which is why editors still use it for reaction videos, gaming clips and short-form memes.

Sonic says what the beep in this short censored clip from the Sonic Says segment, perfect for shocked reactions and funny bleep moments in memes.
Sonic delivers the line in his upbeat cartoon voice, cutting off just as he reaches the swear word, which is replaced by a sharp electronic beep that lands like a punchline. The clip is barely a second long, so the joke hits fast: the setup sounds sincere and instructional, then the censorship makes it feel cheeky and absurd. Viewers hear the familiar heroic tone first, then the sudden bleep, and the contrast turns a simple reaction into a meme-ready gag. It works best as a quick interruption, a shocked response, or a playful way to censor a moment without losing the energy.
