Team Four Star created Dragon Ball Z Abridged as a long-running parody dub that re-voiced Dragon Ball Z with original jokes and tighter pacing. This clip comes from Episode 51, during Cell's time as Semi-Perfect Cell after absorbing Android 17 but before reaching his Perfect form. The Abridged version leans into how incomplete and cocky he is in that state. Fans clipped the line for soundboards and edits, and it stayed popular because that in-between form perfectly represents bragging too early.

Semi-Perfect Cell voice clip from Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Abridged Episode 51, used for smug villain reactions and anime meme edits online.
This is a short voice clip of Semi-Perfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z Abridged, captured in his awkward middle form between Imperfect and Perfect. His voice is deeper and more confident than before but still strained and theatrical, with that smug, self-satisfied delivery Team Four Star is known for. He sounds like he is boasting about a power-up that has not quite landed yet. Played over a smug character or a half-success, it lands as pure overconfidence, making the moment feel funnier and more delusional the longer his tone lingers.
