Sounds written as a long aaaaaa paired with xd have circulated for years in chats, comments and meme captions, where xd signals laughing so hard your eyes close. With no clear original recording attached to this version, its life is mainly on soundboards and in short video edits, passed around as a generic scream reaction. Editors reuse it because the spelling already tells viewers how to hear it, as panicked and amused at once, making it a quick shorthand for exaggerated reactions online today.
À propos de ce son
A short aaaaaa xd screaming meme sound effect used for overreacting, panicking or laughing at chaotic and unexpected moments in edits and videos.
This clip is a stretched-out human scream written as aaaaaa followed by xd, the old internet shorthand for laughing with eyes squeezed shut. The sound itself is a loud, drawn-out yell that tips quickly from panic into comedy, with the pitch staying high and the delivery completely over the top. It works because the reaction is far bigger than whatever triggered it, turning a small fail, jump scare or awkward pause into a joke. Viewers instantly read it as mock horror mixed with laughter, which makes the moment feel chaotic, silly and shareable rather than genuinely tense.
