The line comes from Man's Not Hot, the 2017 comedy rap track by Michael Dapaah performing as Big Shaq, which first grew through a freestyle video and then exploded across YouTube, TikTok and reaction channels. The quick maths section stood out because it paired street swagger with deliberately simple sums, making it instantly quotable and easy to remix. Years later it still circulates as shorthand for fake confidence and playful boasting, especially in short-form edits where a single recognisable voice can carry the whole joke.
À propos de ce son
Big Shaq's 'quick maths' line from Man's Not Hot, delivered in a deadpan rap flow. Creators use it to punctuate fast calculations, jokes and ironic flexes.
This short clip captures Big Shaq rattling off his famous quick maths routine in a confident, deadpan rap delivery, turning simple addition and subtraction into a punchline. The vocal is dry and direct, with a steady rhythmic cadence that makes the absurd arithmetic feel deliberately serious, which is exactly why it lands as comedy. Listeners instantly recognise the swaggering tone and the sudden maths twist, so the sound works as an instant signal that something clever, silly or overconfident is about to happen. It is brief, quotable and easy to drop into a joke without needing any explanation.
