In March 2020, Cardi B posted an Instagram video reacting to the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, yelling about the virus in her unmistakable Bronx delivery before dissolving into the cackling laugh heard here. The clip exploded across Instagram, Twitter and TikTok within days, and her distinctive laugh was lifted out of the video to become a standalone meme sound. Since then it has been used in countless reaction edits, comedy compilations and prank videos, joining the internet's shelf of iconic laughs alongside the baby laughing meme and the cat laugh meme 1.
À propos de ce son
Cardi B's unmistakable cackling laugh from her viral 2020 coronavirus video. A one-second burst of laughter for funny fails, prank reactions and meme edits.
This is Cardi B's signature cackle: loud, raspy and completely unfiltered, captured mid-rant in a one-second burst that lasts just under a full second. Her laughter cracks with a high, wheezing energy that feels raw and spontaneous rather than performed, which is exactly why it lands so hard as a reaction clip. Dropped into an edit, it instantly signals chaotic amusement — the kind of laugh that says the situation has gone completely off the rails. It works best as a punchline accent, turning an awkward moment into a joke the whole audience is in on.
