Chang Koehan first appeared as a playable fighter in The King of Fighters series, the long running SNK fighting game franchise that spun off from Fatal Fury. The huge Korean convict, usually chained to an iron ball and partnered with Choi Bounge, became a fan favourite for his clumsy power. Clips of him running, known in Portuguese as correndo, circulate on Brazilian soundboards and meme edits, where the frantic charge is reused far outside actual match footage for comic chase scenes.
À propos de ce son
Chang Koehan running sound from The King of Fighters, featuring the heavy character charging forward. Used for funny chase and rushing scenes in edits.
This clip captures Chang Koehan in full sprint, the oversized King of Fighters brawler thundering forward with his iron ball in tow. The audio is fast, heavy and a little frantic, with pounding movement and exertion sounds that make the run feel way more intense than it should be. That contrast is what makes it funny, because such a huge, slow looking fighter suddenly sounds unstoppable. Played over any ordinary chase it instantly adds panic, momentum and cartoonish urgency, turning a simple run into a dramatic escape or a charge nobody wants to meet head on.
