Cory in the House was a Disney Channel sitcom that aired from 2007 to 2008 as a spin-off of That's So Raven, following Cory Baxter after he moved to Washington, D.C. with his father, who became the White House chef. Its theme song became widely recognisable, and years later clips of the intro spread through meme edits, reaction videos and nostalgic compilations. The sound still works because it instantly evokes mid-2000s Disney Channel television for viewers who grew up with the show.

This short clip captures the bright, upbeat opening theme from Cory in the House, with its bouncy rhythm, cheerful brass and a confident vocal hook that instantly signals the show. It sounds playful and a little over the top, which is why it lands so well as a punchline or a sudden burst of nostalgia. Hearing it usually makes viewers smile, recall the Disney Channel era, and expect something funny, chaotic or unexpectedly wholesome to follow once the music kicks in.
