The clip circulates on soundboards under the name hamster hmhmh, credited simply as Eddie's laugh, with no confirmed original video or creator widely documented. Its appeal comes from how human the little chuckle sounds, so users save it as a reusable reaction rather than a pet recording alone. It gets posted in comment style edits, short form animal videos and meme compilations where a soft giggle works better than a loud laugh track. Because it is short and clean, it also works as a notification style joke sound among friends.
À propos de ce son
A short clip of Eddie the hamster making a rapid hmhmh chuckling sound, used as a cute laughing reaction in pet videos, memes and funny edits.
This is a 3.7 second recording of a hamster named Eddie making a soft, repetitive hmhmh sound that resembles quiet giggling. The little chirps come in a quick, bouncy rhythm, high pitched and breathy, with no music or other voices behind it. It sounds less like a typical squeak and more like a tiny animal trying to hold in a laugh. Played over a still face or a guilty pause, it instantly makes the moment feel cute and mischievous, turning an ordinary pet clip or reaction shot into a light, silly punchline.
