Happy Birthday to You began as Good Morning to All, written in 1893 by sisters Patty and Mildred Hill for kindergarten classrooms. The birthday lyrics spread informally for decades and became the standard song sung at parties in English-speaking countries. After a long copyright dispute, a US court ruled in 2016 that the lyrics are in the public domain. The tune remains the most recognised celebration song in the world, which is why this classic sung version is shared constantly for wishes, videos and party surprises online.
À propos de ce son
The classic Happy Birthday melody sung in a cheerful group style, used for birthday wishes, surprise party videos, greeting cards and celebration edits.
This is the familiar Happy Birthday tune performed as a bright, sing-along chorus that instantly signals a celebration. The melody is simple and recognisable from the first notes, with warm vocals carrying the traditional birthday lyrics everyone knows. It feels joyful and nostalgic rather than formal, like friends and family gathered around a cake. Dropping it into a video or message immediately tells the viewer someone is being celebrated, even before any text appears, and the happy tone makes ordinary footage feel like a party moment.
