Miss the Rage was released in May 2021 as a single by Trippie Redd featuring Playboi Carti, after a snippet leaked online and built huge anticipation among fans of both artists. The track, produced with a dark, rage-beat style popular in underground hip-hop at the time, became a staple of short-form video culture, where its short, explosive hook worked perfectly for edits and memes. Its continued use comes from that instant recognisability, especially among listeners who associate Carti's vocal style with high-energy internet music trends.
À propos de ce son
The high-energy Miss the Rage song clip by Trippie Redd featuring Playboi Carti, used in edits, hype montages and TikTok videos to add energy and excitement.
Miss the Rage is an 18-second burst of the aggressive, synth-driven hook from Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti's 2021 collaboration, built around distorted bass, rapid hi-hats and Carti's high-pitched ad-libs. It opens loud and stays loud, with a frantic, almost chaotic energy that feels like a sudden adrenaline rush. Creators use it to signal a shift into chaos, confidence or over-the-top hype, and listeners instantly recognise the rising, shouting delivery as a cue that something wild is about to happen on screen.
