The 'Finish Her' command comes from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, where the announcer tells the winning player to perform a Fatality on a defeated opponent. The male version, 'Finish Him,' is one of the most recognisable lines in gaming, and the female version is used in the same moments when the losing character is a woman. Clips of the line spread through gameplay videos, streams and fighting game compilations, where fans reused it as shorthand for a decisive victory. It remains popular because it instantly frames any ending as a final, over-the-top knockout.
À propos de ce son
The Mortal Kombat announcer voice saying 'Finish Her' to prompt a finishing move. Gamers use it in edits, streams and memes for a final blow or dramatic ending.
This is the deep, commanding announcer voice from Mortal Kombat ordering a player to finish a defeated female opponent. Delivered in just over two seconds, the short phrase lands with heavy emphasis on each word, sounding urgent, dramatic and final. It carries the tension of the last moment of a fight, when the winner has one chance to deliver a spectacular finishing move. Hearing it instantly signals that something decisive is about to happen, which is why it works so well outside the game too, turning an ordinary clip, comeback or argument into a mock showdown with a clear winner and loser.
