Neco-Arc began as a joke character in the Melty Blood fighting games, a cat-eared parody of Arcueid Brunestud from Tsukihime, and her exaggerated mannerisms made her a lasting favourite in fighting game and anime meme culture. Short clips of her voice, including this nyeh, spread through YouTube edits, TikTok videos and soundboards, where fans reused them as reactions rather than as story moments. The sound remains popular because it is instantly recognisable to fans, easy to place over almost any playful scene, and carries the character's chaotic, self-aware humour in under a second.
À propos de ce son
Neco-Arc's short, cheeky nyeh vocalization from Melty Blood, often used in memes and edits as a playful teasing reaction to something silly or unexpected.
This is a very short, high-pitched vocal burst from Neco-Arc, the mischievous cat-like character from Melty Blood, delivered as a quick nyeh that sounds half giggle, half taunt. It is bright, bouncy and slightly nasal, lasting less than half a second, so it lands instantly without explaining itself. In a video it reads as cheeky confidence, playful mockery or a cat-like shrug, making a joke feel sillier and a reaction feel more exaggerated. Because it is so brief and recognisable, it works best as a punchline accent rather than a long reaction, adding energy right at the moment something goes wrong or someone gets caught out.
