The sound comes from Zou, a television series built around a young zebra and his everyday adventures, where short, clear instructions like this fit naturally into songs and playful routines. Shared as a brief meme clip, it has travelled beyond its original audience because the wording is simple, repeatable and easy to act out. Creators keep returning to it for dance edits, pointing jokes and light-hearted transitions, where a few familiar words are enough to set up the joke without extra explanation.
À propos de ce son
This short Zou clip repeats the instructions point and flex and point and close, and creators use it as a playful cue for dance moves and pointing moments.
The clip is a brief, rhythmic spoken instruction that walks the listener through two simple movements, first pointing, then flexing, then pointing again before closing the motion. The voice is clear and upbeat, with a steady, almost sing-song cadence that makes the sequence easy to follow and even easier to copy. Because it is only a few seconds long, it lands quickly and feels like a tiny dance lesson or a playful command. On screen it gives a moment a sense of choreography, turning an ordinary gesture into something deliberate, silly and satisfying to watch.
