Ragnarok Online is a South Korean massively multiplayer online role playing game developed by Gravity and released in 2002, inspired by the manhwa by Lee Myung-jin. Its soundtrack, created by the Korean team SoundTeMP, became as memorable as the game itself, and the title theme was heard by every player at login. As private servers, streams and nostalgic videos kept the game alive for decades, this piece spread beyond the client as a symbol of early 2000s online gaming and remains popular with fans who grew up with it.
À propos de ce son
The title screen theme from Ragnarok Online, the classic MMORPG. A nostalgic orchestral loop players use for gaming videos and retro game edits.
This is the opening title music from Ragnarok Online, a gentle orchestral piece built around soft strings, piano and a calm fantasy melody that plays while the game loads and the login screen appears. It runs for over a minute without vocals or sudden hits, creating a warm, adventurous feeling rather than tension. For longtime players the first few notes instantly bring back memories of starting in Prontera and exploring with friends, while new listeners hear it as peaceful background music that makes any scene feel like the beginning of a quest.
