Kernkraft 400 was released in 1999 by Zombie Nation, the project of German producer Florian Senfter, also known as Splank. The track samples the melody from the 1984 computer game Lazy Jones and became a major European dance hit before crossing into sports culture. Stadium crowds adopted its wordless riff as a chant, and it later spread through highlight reels, gaming montages and social media edits. Its simple, repeating hook is easy to recognise in seconds, which is why creators still use it for wins and celebrations.
