Steve Brule is a fictional local cable host created for Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, played by John C. Reilly with a slow, earnest, often confused speaking style that became a cult favourite. Clips of the character later spread through Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule and through meme pages and soundboards, where short isolated lines are reused out of context. This Shanghai line works in that same way, circulating as a tiny, instantly recognisable reaction rather than as a quote tied to a single scene.
À propos de ce son
A short Steve Brule voice clip saying Shanghai, taken from the Tim and Eric comedy character, often used as a quick reaction sound in memes and edits.
This is a brief, slightly bewildered voice clip of Steve Brule, the hapless local TV host played by John C. Reilly on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, uttering the word Shanghai in his trademark halting, earnest delivery. Lasting under two seconds, it lands as a deadpan non sequitur: earnest, a little confused, and oddly confident all at once. Dropped into a video, it breaks the flow just enough to make a mundane moment feel absurd, giving viewers a quick jolt of recognition if they know the character and a puzzling, funny pause if they do not.
