Sus became widespread online slang for suspicious as Among Us grew popular in 2020, with players accusing each other of being the impostor, and the sarcastic slow clap has long been a visual joke for fake praise. Combined, the sus clap became a short reaction clip shared in memes, gameplay videos and short-form edits, where a few dry claps say someone has been caught without a single word. It stays popular because the joke is instantly readable, works across games and everyday situations, and fits neatly at the end of a clip.
À propos de ce son
A slow, sarcastic clap used to call out someone acting sus, popular in Among Us memes and funny videos when a player looks guilty in a game or stream.
This is a short, dry clapping sound that lands like a sarcastic slow clap, with each clap spaced just enough to feel mocking rather than celebratory. It is not loud or dramatic, which is exactly why it works: the pause between claps lets the joke sink in and makes the target look even more suspicious. Creators use it right after a dodgy claim, a failed lie, or a moment when someone is clearly caught, and viewers instantly read it as a quiet accusation. The tone is playful and teasing, never angry, so it turns an awkward moment into a punchline without needing any dialogue.
