Crossing Field is the first opening theme of Sword Art Online, performed by Japanese singer LiSA and released with the anime's debut in 2012. The English version heard here keeps the same driving arrangement while making the lyrics accessible to international fans, which helped it spread beyond Japan through fan edits, AMVs and anime soundboards. More than a decade later it remains a shorthand for the series' early, adventurous tone and for the wider wave of 2010s anime openings.
À propos de ce son
The English version of LiSA's Crossing Field, the opening theme from Sword Art Online, with its bright guitar intro and soaring vocals for anime edits and AMVs.
This clip is the opening of Crossing Field, performed in English by LiSA, and it starts with a fast, driving guitar riff before the vocals lift into a bright, determined chorus. The energy feels hopeful and urgent, like the start of an adventure, with crisp drums and layered guitars pushing the melody forward. Hearing it instantly brings back the world of Aincrad and Kirito's first journey, so it works as a burst of motivation or nostalgia in a short edit, setting an upbeat, heroic tone in just a few seconds.
