Tamamo Cross is a character in Uma Musume Pretty Derby, the Japanese franchise about horse girls inspired by real racehorses, which grew from an anime series into a hugely popular mobile game. Fans clip short voice lines and reactions from the characters and share them on soundboards and in edits, where the most expressive moments travel furthest. This scream became useful as a standalone reaction because it needs no context to read as panic, so creators reuse it for gacha results, gaming fails and anime memes.

Tamamo Cross scream sound effect from Uma Musume, a short loud anime girl yell used for jumpscares, reactions and funny moments in online edits.
This clip is a short, sharp scream from Tamamo Cross, the small but fiercely competitive horse girl from Uma Musume. Her voice spikes suddenly from silence into a high, strained yell that lasts just over two seconds, with a raw, startled edge rather than a polished battle cry. The abruptness makes it feel both funny and alarming at once, like a character has just seen a disaster unfold off screen. Dropped into a quiet scene, it instantly raises the energy, turns a minor mistake into a dramatic meltdown, and gets a laugh from the contrast.
