Tu veux une médaille is a French sarcastic expression used when someone expects praise for doing something ordinary, and the audio version has circulated as a short reaction clip in French-language memes and short-form videos. Its appeal comes from its simplicity: the question needs no context to be understood as teasing, which makes it easy to reuse across gaming clips, everyday vlogs and comment-style edits. Because the phrase is widely recognised in French internet culture, creators keep returning to it as a quick way to call out boasting.
À propos de ce son
A short French voice clip asking 'tu veux une médaille' with sarcastic delivery, used in memes and video edits for mocking someone who is showing off.
This is a brief spoken French phrase delivered with a dry, sarcastic edge, as if the speaker is unimpressed by someone else's achievement. The voice is clear and conversational, with a rising, questioning tone on the final word that makes the mockery land instantly. At just over three seconds long, it works as a quick punchline rather than a full line of dialogue. When it drops over a clip of someone bragging, exaggerating a small win, or demanding attention, it undercuts the moment with humour, turning self-congratulation into a joke without needing any extra explanation.
