Vel'Koz is a champion in League of Legends, the multiplayer online battle arena game from Riot Games, where he appears as a tentacled creature from the Void who studies other beings before destroying them. His laugh comes from his in-game voice lines, which players trigger as a taunt or emote during matches. Clips of the sound spread through gameplay videos, streams and soundboards, where its alien tone made it useful beyond League itself. It remains popular because it instantly reads as cold, knowing mockery without needing any context from the game.
À propos de ce son
The eerie, echoing laugh of Vel'Koz, the Void champion from League of Legends, used in memes and edits to mock an enemy or celebrate a clever play.
Vel'Koz's laugh is a cold, alien chuckle that sounds less like human amusement and more like a creature studying its prey and finding it amusing. The voice is deep and distorted, with a hollow, echoing quality that makes each burst feel unsettling rather than joyful, and the short, staccato rhythm gives it a taunting edge. In a clip it instantly signals superiority, mockery, or a villain enjoying someone else's mistake, which is why it lands so well over a failed play, a betrayal, or an opponent walking straight into a trap.
