Tutturu is the signature greeting of Mayuri Shiina, a cheerful character from the science-fiction series Steins;Gate, which began as a visual novel in 2009 and became a popular anime in 2011. Fans clipped her sing-song hello and shared it across anime forums, reaction videos and soundboards, where it became shorthand for cute, innocent enthusiasm. Like Nico Nico Nii, it survives because it is instantly recognisable, easy to place in edits and tied to a beloved character whose warmth fans still enjoy quoting today.
