Barf Bag is a female contestant in Battle for Dream Island, the animated object show created by Cary and Michael Huang that began on YouTube in 2010. She competed in Battle for BFDI and later in The Power of Two, where her team role and easily nauseated personality made her reactions a recurring joke. Clips of her screaming were isolated by fans and shared on soundboards as a standalone reaction, separate from full episodes. The short length and recognisable cartoon voice keep it popular with BFDI editors and meme creators.

Barf Bag screaming sound effect from Battle for Dream Island, a short loud scream from the BFDI character used for panic, jumpscare and funny reaction edits.
This is a brief, high-pitched scream performed as Barf Bag, the animated barf bag character from Battle for Dream Island. The sound lasts under two seconds and jumps straight into a panicked yell with no build-up, which makes the reaction feel sudden and exaggerated. Because Barf Bag is often shown overwhelmed or queasy, the scream reads as comic distress rather than real horror. Viewers instantly get the joke of a character completely losing composure, so editors use the sharp, cartoonish delivery to turn an ordinary surprise, fall or gross-out moment into a bigger reaction.
