The clip comes from a user made soundboard recording rather than a film or show, with the short Russian phrase Da ya Bilyash presented as a standalone joke. Its title combines the name Bilyash with da, and the audio tag is simply da, which reflects how little context the meme needs. Shared as a two second voice effect, it spread through meme pages and chat soundboards where brief Russian replies are reused as reactions. The lack of a known source is part of its appeal, letting anyone adopt the line as their own confident yes.
