The sound comes from SnapCube's real-time fandub of Sonic Adventure 2, a comedy dub in which voice actors improvise over the game's cutscenes and give Dr. Eggman an exaggerated, theatrical performance. In the scene, Eggman's ascent is turned into an extended vocal gag, with the word stretched far beyond a normal shout. Clipped from that performance, the moment spread through Sonic fan edits, meme compilations and reaction videos, where its absurd length makes even a small rise feel like a dramatic launch.

Dr. Eggman's rising 'uuuuuuup' scream from SnapCube's Sonic Adventure 2 fandub, used as a hype sound for climbs, reveals and over-the-top meme reactions.
This clip captures Dr. Eggman stretching a single word into a long, rising shout as his voice climbs higher before cutting off, turning a simple upward movement into a moment of cartoon panic and triumph. The delivery is loud, wobbly and deliberately overacted, with each 'u' getting more strained and theatrical until it feels like he might run out of breath. Hearing it instantly signals that something is escalating beyond control, whether a character is flying off, a plan is going wrong, or a joke is reaching its peak. It works as both a punchline and a hype cue, making ordinary edits feel bigger, sillier and more dramatic.
