Ice Scream is a mobile horror game series by Keplerians, first released in 2019, about Rod Sullivan, an ice cream man who freezes and kidnaps children. When Rod catches the player, the game cuts to a close jumpscare with a loud scream, and that moment was clipped and shared across YouTube and TikTok horror edits. It later circulated more widely as a scream meme for fake scares and reaction cuts, which is why the short sting is still reused outside gameplay footage.

The Ice Scream jumpscare sound effect from the horror game, a sudden loud scream used to startle viewers in scary edits, pranks and reaction videos.
This is the sharp jumpscare sting from Ice Scream, built around a sudden scream that hits without warning. The clip starts quiet enough to lower your guard, then erupts into a loud, distorted shriek paired with a harsh impact tone. That instant spike is what makes it effective in horror edits, because the viewer feels the shock physically before they process what happened. At just over three seconds, it is long enough to land the scare and cut away cleanly, leaving the reaction, silence or laughter that follows to carry the joke or the tension.
