Jožin z Bažin was written by Czech musician and comedian Ivan Mládek for his Banjo Band and released in the late 1970s, telling the story of a monster from the swamps near Vizovice who can only be stopped with powdered spray from a crop duster plane. The song became a cult favourite in Czechoslovakia and later found a second life in Poland and online, where its catchy chorus was shared as a meme, remixed, subtitled and used to soundtrack comic chases and swamp monster jokes.

Jožin z Bažin is the catchy chorus from Ivan Mládek's Czech novelty song about a swamp monster, now used as a meme sound for silly chase and monster moments.
This clip is the singalong chorus of Jožin z Bažin, the deadpan Czech folk parody about a bog monster terrorising the town of Vizovice. Over bright banjo picking, Ivan Mládek sings the creature's name and its appetite for passing Praguers in a cheerful, completely straight faced style. The contrast is the joke: the story sounds like a warning, but the tune is bouncy, catchy and impossible to take seriously. Played over footage of someone lurking, chasing or emerging from mud, it instantly turns an ordinary moment into a mock horror scene with a very silly villain.
